a visit to the museum is an unforgettable experiential journey in which the child goes on a fascinating imaginary adventure with added educational value. the museum trails are in fact a story, and the child is an active character in the plot. touching the exhibits here is not only permitted but desired, to feel them and even enter them. at the end of the visit the child emerges with many emotional and cognitive insights and what's more important - with a smile.
For ages two and a half – 4 :
"following the  butterflies" or " a journey with an owl-cat"
for 4-7 year old: "a journey to mend the  kingdom of time"
for 5-8 years old- "the magic forest"
and for 7-10 years old: "the aliens and the world of Mr.Katz
Each program has its own exciting story and characters that draws children in to partake an active role in determining the plot.

Invitation To Silence

An inter-active exhibition about communication guided by deaf guides.
This exhibition that brings forth the non- oral communication skills that exist in every one of us, and which are best expressed in the absence of voice and sound. In this non-standard experience one does not speak nor hear, and yet discovers a new alternative world of communication, through hands movements and body language.

Donations to the Children's Museum

The Israel Children's Museum in Holon is a non-profit organization offering children and adults an empowering experience. The museum's various activities are suitable for children from the age of two and a half as well as adults.
The museum is open almost all year round. On including holidays during children's festivals and unique activities are held.
The museum's current operating budget is funded by the municipality and used mainly to fund guides and current maintenance.
Developing new exhibitions and unique activities is mainly funded by donations and external financial support.
We thank all the generous donors for their help in empowering the children of Israel and taking part in developing their individual skills.
Donations can be sent to the Children's Museum with checks in the amount of NIS 50 and more.
